Community Bookfair & Author/Publisher Visit
Mini IMANI to host a bookfair and visit with authors/publishers Cheryl and Wade Hudson from Just Us Books, on February 26th, 2 p.m. -5 p.m. at the Charles H. Bullock school at 55 Washington St. The children-led discussion with the Hudsons begins at 3:30 p.m. Event open to all and Mini IMANI registrations will be accepted for new students. IMANI partners with the Montclair Public Schools to offer educational support programs that help elementary, middle, and high school students improve their academic 
performance. Our programs are designed to give underserved minority students the same opportunities that are available to more advantaged peers. Through a unique collaboration with parent volunteers, school district officials, and community leaders, IMANI has made considerable progress over the past ten years in narrowing the achievement gap between minority and white students.
